Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. Common causes include accidents, abuse, violence, combat, or sudden loss. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, avoidance of reminders, and mood changes such as anger or depression.

PTSD doesn’t always appear immediately—it can emerge weeks, months, or even years after the trauma. It affects people differently and may interfere with relationships, work, and daily functioning. Left untreated, PTSD can become deeply disruptive, but with the right care, recovery is absolutely possible.

At Wellbeing Clinic, we take a trauma-informed approach to understand your experience and provide compassionate support.
